STUDENT WORKSHOPS
Workshop: Painting Without Fear
One hour Workshop and talk for K-12
This talk is about taking risks in our creative endeavors and how by believing in yourself you can increase artistic and creative power. Having a full life.
The fear of making mistakes often immobilizes us in our life, work and energies. This workshop is intended to help you believe in yourself. It will show you how giving yourself the permission to fail is the true path to achievement.
We will be working with quick drawings and painting. Learn to just put the paint down. The audience will be given a word prompt and an image (ahead of time) to generate ideas to work from to create an expressive and artistically free image.
In today's society we are trapped in a rut of avoiding mistakes - in other words - stuck in our own heads. E.B. Lewis will give you the tools to free ourselves up and allow ourselves to make wonder, beautiful, horrible mistakes!
